Work Life Balance

I was happy to hear all the great feedback – it looks like the 6 Pillars I shared resonated with so many of those who attended. Music to my ears 🙂

Also, we’ve been welcoming in our new class of Mommy Ambassadors and I have to say — the caliber of people are stunning. I’ve been connecting and saying hi to everyone in our members’ area. People are taking action already and it’s been barely 24 hours.

There’s one thing that Kate (Mom), shared about our Ambassador Program that really got me inspired and fired up. She said,

“Someday, I’d like to stay home with my kids. I’m currently the breadwinner, so I can’t just quit my job. I’d like to put the work in now to live the life I want down the road with my family.”

Really pay attention to those last words.

“…I’d like to put the work in now to live the life I want down the road with my family.”

YESSSSSSS!!

I so respect and admire how Kate thinks. She’s a winner. She knows that in order to create something sustainable and meaningful for her future — she needs to invest in herself now.

She’s got a vision, a meaningful purpose and she’s willing to work hard to make it come to life. The other day I shared about my life — how I get work done — and how much has changed in five years.

You may think 5 years is a long time, but it goes by — fast! And in our “instant gratification” culture, please hear me out on this. Anything truly great takes the time to build.

Sure, people move and create at different paces. But there’s no such thing as an overnight success. Whether you join us as a Mommy Ambassador or not, please promise me this.

Whatever your future vision is, you’ll get started on it now. You’ll take action every day. Stay the course and build your dreams. Because no matter what —  the next year, 3 years, 5 years and 10 years will pass. And it’s completely up to you what your future will look like.

I’d love to hear from you. In the comments below, let me know:

  1. What’s one thing you did that you’re proud of as a mom?
  2. What’s one mistake you made and the lesson you learned as a mom?

Remember, share as much detail as possible in your reply.

Thousands of incredible moms come here each week for insight and inspiration. Your comment may help someone else open up to a brand new perspective on motherhood.

Important: share your thoughts and ideas directly in the comments. Links to other posts, videos, etc. will be deleted.

Thank you so much for reading and diving into the discussion. I’m so grateful for you!

With so much love,

Sonia Marie
